PM Modi Stands for Women, Says Nirmala Sitharaman, Citing Key Policies

These include granting permanent commission to women officers in the armed forces and increasing maternity leave from 12 to 26 weeks. She also cited schemes like the PM Mudra Yojana, where a significant portion of loans benefits women, and the Poshan Abhiyan, impacting millions. Sitharaman further underscored the government's commitment through the Women's Reservation Bill and efforts to promote women-led startups.
